              NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Corvallis Rural Fire Protection District, Benton and Linn Counties, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 will be held on Wednesday, March 18,  2026 at 6.00 pm.

The meeting will take place at Locke Station, 544 NW Lewisburg Av., Corvallis. Virtual attendance is also available by Zoom:

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may attend the meeting and discuss the proposed budget with the Budget Committee.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected on the website CorvallisRFPD.com or inspected/obtained at Locke Fire Station, 544 NW Lewisburg Ave, (between 8:30 am and 5.00 pm M to F), or on request from  tony.odonahue@corvallisrfpd.com (541-602-7761) from March 11th, 2026.

 

 

Budget process Approach

Each year CRFPD follows statutory requirements and produces a Budget through the process of a Budget Committee reviewing and commenting on the budget as presented by the Budget Officer, adjusting it, and once approved by the Budget Committee, it is passed on to the Governing Body where, possibly with minor changes, it is adopted.
