Tyler Boltman- Rural Residential Volunteer of the year 2026

After a 4 year absence the Rural Resident Volunteer of the Year Award has been re-instated. The recipient of this award is selected through a process that requires nomination by other RRV’s, with the top receiving nominees being submitted to a 5 person voting committee that consists of BC’s, Training Chief and Station 6 LT. The 2025 recipient is Tyler Boltman. His dedication and passion have been instrumental to the success of Station 6 over the two years he has been with us. He consistently puts in far more then the required hours of the position and has had a large impact on keeping Station 6 in-service. He was able to achieve the Crew Leader position this past Fall and has been hard at work getting through paramedic school this year. One of the voters did a great job of summing up Tyler’s time as an RRV with this statement: “He has been solid, a go getter, stepping up for the good of the organization not because it would “look good” but because it is the standard he has set for himself”.
